The Speares

Always a fun time in Punta Cana. We went back to a resort we hadn't been to in a while. The Majestic Colonial has expanded and is now several resorts, with ours being the oldest but still nice. Maybe try one of the newer ones next time, although they seem full of kids.

We started at the Monte Carlo in Brampton which is close to the airport, and has airport parking for next time maybe. We were there to be close to the airport for the next day's flight, but also to see the eclipse. Didn't happen. Pretty cloudy. Next eclipse perhaps.

Anyhow, food was good (though not excellent), beach is beyond compare and the drinks flow smoothly. Deb always gets sick down south because she eats the fruit. But this time we both got sick after returning. Deb's was gone in a few days whereas I was sick for a long time and then quite tired for a very long time.
